The Highland Cinema in Fort William has won the accolade of UK Cinema of the Year 2023 at the Big Screen Awards in London.
The cinema, which was developed by local businessman Angus MacDonald, was decribed by judges as an "impressive site which stands out for its local initiatives" that goes "above and beyond to serve its local community".
Dualchas is delighted to see the hard work and commitment of Angus and his team being rewarded, and to have been the architects of a building which is at the heart of a revitalised town centre.
