Ancala, a Dualchas-designed house near Armadale in Sleat, south Skye, has been completed.
The three bedroom house has dramatic views over the Sound of Sleat to the hills of Knoydart, with the building cut in to rocky escarpment of the shoreline.
The building is wrapped in a rubber membrane, with an over-cladding of deep larch fins which act as screens and gives a hightly textured aesthetic to the exterior.
