Isle of Skye

Our clients had their home at the foot of a linear croft in the coastal township of Camuscross on the Isle of Skye, with views east to Loch Hourn and Knoydart. The sloping ground above their house had little value for agriculture, but as a location for a holiday let business it was ideal. 

The one bedroom buildings draw their inspiration from neighbouring black sheds, their forms fitting quietly into the terraced hillside. They are designed so that each has privacy from one another, but both share a high-quality oak panelled interior, making them feel warm and intimate.
